Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProduction Control Support. Provide support for MCLB Albany, GA by providing a variety of duties relating to management of administrative programs as follows:  
A snapshot of requirements:
  • Production Control Support
  • A background in building maintenance, plumbing and electrical essential.
  • Must be able to answer phones and interact with customers on a daily basis.
  • Receive, screen and classify all job orders.
  • Review elements of information and determine and establish priorities based on all other work orders scheduled, or pending scheduling.
  • Schedule work orders concurrently or sequentially, to minimize over-all man-hour requirements.
  • Prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies charts  production using chart, graph, based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel
  • Build spreadsheets, track Work Orders, and prepare reports for Customers and Senior I&E staff.
  • Verify material received against bills of material for planned job for correctness.
  • Reschedule jobs due to non-availability of material and/or manpower, weather conditions or other reasons. Work with shop supervisors, planners and estimator and other key personnel to ensure timely material and equipment support to keep jobs on schedule.
  • On site support required during normal working hours: 06:00 to 18:00, Monday thru Friday, may be required to work overtime to meet program Goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in the field of study or related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Production Controller.
  • Experience using: Microsoft Office, Teams, MAXIMO. 
  • Other skills required, ability to learn USMCmax program, I&E Public processes and procedures.
  • Salary $29.32 /hr
