III. SUPERVISION:
1. Attends supervision consistently and comes prepared.
2. Documents supervision.

IV. LEADERSHIP: Sr. Manager Responsibilities
1. Oversee all administrative aspects of programming to assure compliance with funding regulations, procedures, and level of service mandates, including but not limited to, referral processes, multi-system data input, and program reporting.
2. Report and update Director of Programs on the status of program(s).
3. Promote program in the community, maintaining strong, cooperative relationships with funders, referral sources, and collaborating providers.
4. Attend community meetings including but not limited to, LACADA, MDT and Consortium.
5. Lead intake review meetings and assigns cases to clinicians.
6. Oversee psychiatric consultants, including monitoring schedules, utilization, and reporting
7. Monitor and maintain treatment plan compliance in collaboration with Director of Programs and Director of Compliance.
8. Manage all program budget and finance affairs in conjunction with the Director of Programs, Finance Team and CFO.
9. Monitor and assess staff utilization within FFS environment in collaboration with Director of Programs.
10. Identifies program challenges and service gaps and is proactive in finding solutions.
11. Serve as safety officer for facility, assess and address risk management concerns, and issues and complete timely incident reports, and quarterly facility checklists.
12. Assist the Human Resources Manager with the hiring, training, disciplining, evaluating, and motivating clinical staff.
13. Provide administrative oversight and clinical supervision, as applicable to staff and interns.
14. Lead monthly team meetings, develop meeting agenda, facilitate discussion, and foster team collaboration, in conjunction with Coordinators.
15. Facilitate weekly Coordinator Meetings to ensure communication and sharing, for the effective orderly running of programs.
16. Complete all required program reporting in a timely fashion and according to funder/agency timeframes, including but not limited to, funder reports, record reviews, QI projects and annual contract renewals.
17. Remain current in the field of Mental Health and Substance use, interventions and practices and assess appropriateness for program needs.
18. Support Coordinators to ensure all required participants receive regular drug/alcohol screens and monitors results.
19. Participate in agency committees and activities.
V. CLINICAL:
1. Provide coverage support for Coordinator and Clinicians as needed.
VI. Serve as Substance Abuse Counseling Staff in accordance with NJAC 10:161B-1.9, as noted in Appendix A.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Required: LPC or LCSW and LCADC or state licensure/certification specific to program requirement. Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
Experience: three to five years’ experience in mental health and 2 to 4 years addiction services, plus supervisory experience. Experience with diverse populations in an urban setting.
Knowledge: Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and various treatment modalities, including group, family and individual treatment. Knowledge of community resources, social service, and mental health systems. Knowledge of appropriate clinical interventions in a crisis and non-crisis situation. Knowledge of appropriate treatment interventions for victims of sexual abuse, individuals suffering from PTSD, juvenile sexual offenders. Knowledge of Family Systems Theory.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to conduct biopsychosocial assessments and to make a differential diagnosis. Ability to supervise clinical staff regarding clinical interventions, psychopathology, and theoretical case formulations. Ability to mobilize individual and family strengths. Ability to provide consumers assistance in obtaining concrete services. Ability to create a case formulation and treatment plan. Ability to assess children, adults, and families for abuse and neglect. Ability to work with hard to reach or resistant consumers. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to create a warm, collaborative, non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere. Ability to set limits and appropriate boundaries with consumers. Willingness to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to work professionally and collaboratively on multi-disciplinary team.
