Warehouse Coordinator

WHO WE ARE:
HJD Capital Electric is a 100% employee-owned company, founded in 1994 by Henry Davila, which has grown from purely providing electrical services to providing electrical, mechanical, general construction and construction management services in addition to 24-hour plumbing and electrical service/special projects.
The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical and construction projects by assisting in the organization and maintenance of our warehouse facilities. You will be responsible for performing various tasks related to inventory management and materials handling.
Duties/Responsibilities:Tactical Steps:
- Tracking, auditing, reconciling and allocating incoming/outgoing deliveries.
- Equipment management and check in/check out process.
- Inventory recordkeeping, logging, maintenance and reporting.
- Ensuring warehouse/yard safety standards is met.
- Assisting Logistics Manager.
- Purchasing, pricing and on time delivery negotiations.
Strategic Results:
· Implementing safety protocols & quality control measures to mitigate potential risks.
· Aligning warehouse operations with demands and preferences.
· Vendor relations
· Maintain Inventory accuracy, and communication w/ relevant departments to ensure.
· Optimize processes by reducing associated costs where applicable.
· Ensure efficient and effective operations within the warehouse.
· Optimizing storage space within the warehouse.
· Analyzes data and forecasts demand to optimize inventory levels, layout and equipment utilization.
· Managing costs within budget constraints.
- Collaborates with management to answer questions and clarify procedures.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of basic tools and equipment used in construction.
- Knowledge of the Electrical Trade.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Forklift certified preferred.
- Must be able to carry/lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours.
- Experience working in the elements (extreme heat and cold)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Safety-conscious and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required).
