People Operations Coordinator

The People Ops Coordinator will support the People Team within the employee life cycle including processing of hires, transfers, terminations and other job changes. This person will also support the maintenance and organization of the People Team systems, help desk and perform other HR related tasks.
- Reports to: Head of People Operations
- This position will be a hybrid role requiring 3 days in-office and 2 flex days (remote or in-office) per week
What You Will Own
- Responsible for the People Team's ticketing system and the point of contact general questions HR, Benefits and Payroll questions
- Support the operational aspects of the Recruiting team
- Point of contact in assisting leaders with job requisitions and will be responsible for the accuracy of the job requisition to ensure data integrity
- Collaborate with Finance, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition
- Data entry of all change requests within the Workday HRIS system to include internal transfers, promotions, manager changes, internal department transfers, etc.
- Support benefit and payroll activities where needed
- Support new new hire process to include completing I-9 verifications, e-verify and new hire paperwork
- Maintain employee files
- Support end of employment tasks
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and ability to multitask
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with G-Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to hold and maintain confidentiality
What Will Make Us Love You
- 1-2 years of HR experience
- Experience using Workday
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- Passionate about career growth and continued learning
- Experience working with an enterprise system
