Summary


One of or prospective Fortune 500 clients needs a skilled Project Manager to lead the establishment of automated warehouse distribution centers. This company is committed to maintaining customer loyalty and expanding its operations with cutting-edge technology and efficient distribution systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of automated warehouse distribution centers. This role requires expertise in managing multi-workstream projects, coordinating across various departments, and ensuring project milestones' timely and successful completion.


Job Description


Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of automated warehouse distribution center projects.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment and integration across various functions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and company standards.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field (equivalencies related to education and work experience may be considered).
  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in standing up automated warehouse distribution centers.
  • Strong expertise in managing multi-workstream projects.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently as required by the project.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
  • Excellent systems thinking, analysis, and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage yourself independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to express ideas, recommendations, and decisions clearly and concisely with varying stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Local to the Boston area, though this is not required. Frequent Travel is required.
