- Conducting Full-Cycle recruitment for hourly associate positions in the food and event industry (Hotels, Hospitals, Corporate Café, Country Clubs, Event Planners, Universities, and Caterers).
- Successfully screen a high volume of resumes and hire applicants for designated positions regularly in the food industry and culinary events using ATS.
- Manage Onboarding processes and conduct necessary follow-ups with new hires.
- Conduct background checks as needed for potential employees.
- Create and maintain personnel files.
- Handling recruitment inquiries from current and potential employees by answering phone lines and emails.
- Conducting daily Concierge Calls with newly hired employees to verify onboarding completion, address concerns and questions, enhance new hire experience, ensure compliance, and build relationships.
- Serve as the brand ambassador to recruit talent at off-site locations (e.g., schools, workforce centers, job fairs, community events, etc.)
- Other duties, projects, and tasks as per business needs.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and the ability to match candidates to compatible roles.
- A record of accomplishment of delivering results, meeting deadlines, and achieving targets.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft applications and recruiting websites are preferred.
- The ability to work with a sense of urgency and maintain professional composure under pressure.
- Strong business acumen and market insight.
- Effective negotiation, influencing, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- An elevated level of work ethic, integrity, and confidentiality.
- The ability to build positive working relationships with hiring managers at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of employment law and legislation related to recruitment.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; business-related mathematics and data analysis skills.
- 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fast-paced management recruitment role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of the culinary (Food and Food Service) industry.
- Expertise in full cycle recruitment and developing staffing plans
- A degree in Business Administration or Human Resources is a plus.
- Ability to meet deadlines and exhibit conscientiousness about assignments.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with others and cultivating constructive working relationships.
