Do you have a passion for driving changes to improve the status quo? We’re hiring a Continuous Improvement Co-Op for our company’s location in Raymond, Mississippi. If you possess:

  • Major study in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • Interest in hands-on experience

The Continuous Improvement Co-Op offers a set onsite schedule of 40 hours per week.

Start Date: early January 2025

End Date: end of May 2025 (opportunity to extend through summer)

What you will do:

Continuous Improvements

  • Work on teams to improve Kanban System to achieve more consistent production rates.
  • Participate in multiple Kaizen Events to reduce inefficiencies and improve employee morale.
  • Lead 6S organizational events help employees better organize their work areas.
  • Participate in Value Stream Mapping Events to identify opportunities to drive future improvements.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA (must be on resume)
  • Major study in:
    • Industrial Engineering
    • Industrial Technology
    • Mechanical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience using tools preferred
