Title: Training Specialist

Location: Alexandria, Virginia

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Initial 90 days in-office, with hybrid flexibility available afterward at the Training Director's discretion
  • Compensation: $74k-$75k

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and design training modules, including content and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Lead both individual and group training sessions to enhance employee performance.
  • Work with team members to develop engaging and effective training programs.
  • Update and improve existing training materials and resources.
  • Use BAI, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and HTML for course creation.
  • Align training programs with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Train employees on new systems and processes, especially in the banking or credit union sectors.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and implement necessary improvements.
  • Conduct both in-person and virtual training sessions to ensure participant engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in training and course development, ideally within the banking or credit union industry.
  • Proficiency in BAI, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and HTML.
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral presentations, interpersonal, and written communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Creativity and ability to develop original content.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • A degree in English, education, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
