Clinical Director of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)

As the Clinical Director of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), you will be responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of our therapy services. This includes internship program development, staff supervision and quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our team of speech-language pathologists, ensuring adherence to best practices and evidence-based interventions.

  • Program Development: Develop and implement innovative programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients and communities.

  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor speech-language pathologists, clinical fellows, and support staff, providing training, feedback, and support as needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of clinical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and organizational policies.

  • Client Care: Oversee the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring individualized and evidence-based interventions.

  • Professional Development: Stay current with advances in the field of speech-language pathology, participating in continuing education, research, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

  • Experience working with both pediatric and geriatric clients

  • Experience with billing Medicaid and Medicare

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a speech-language pathologist.

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology, with 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to professional growth, continuous learning, and the highest standards of ethical practice.
