About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Store Clerk to join our team at Carlyle Meat Market in Carlyle, IL. As a Store Clerk, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information
  • Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
  • Stock shelves and maintain store inventory
  • Slice Deli Meat on a Hand Slicer
  • Cut Meat on a Meat Saw
  • Keep store clean and organized, including sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus
  • Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
