We're looking for a Podcast & Outreach Specialist to join our team at Refer.io. This role is multifaceted: you'll be part ABM marketer, scheduling and securing podcast guests; part podcast host, facilitating insightful interviews; part follow-up admin, ensuring guests share their episodes; and part sales rep, converting podcast guests and others into active members of our community. A Day in the Life:
As a Podcast & Outreach Specialist, your day will be a mix of outreach, interviews, follow-ups, and sales. You'll start by identifying and reaching out to potential podcast guests via LinkedIn and email, crafting personalized messages to pique their interest. Once a guest is confirmed, you'll either host the interview yourself or facilitate the conversation between the guest and one of our mentor hosts. After the podcast is recorded, you'll follow up with the guest, providing them with their episode and encouraging them to share it widely. Finally, you'll pitch our community's value proposition, converting past guests and other targets into paying members. Your role will be critical in driving the growth of our community and expanding our reach.
What You'll Need to Be Able to Do on Day One:
•Craft engaging outreach messages that resonate with potential podcast guests.
•Host or facilitate podcast interviews confidently and professionally.
•Manage follow-up communications with precision and a personal touch.
What You'll Learn in the First 90 Days:
