COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Prairie AquaTech Manufacturing, LLC dba Houdek is a manufacturing company based in Volga South Dakota that is improving animal health and nutrition by providing high-quality feed ingredients. Using patent-pending technologies licensed on a worldwide, exclusive basis from South Dakota State University and developed internally, the Company is upgrading soybean meal to high-quality ingredients used in aquaculture and other animal feeds.

JOB DUTIES

As a key member Communications team, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Support and represent Houdek values to a wide variety of stakeholders in the areas of Communications (advertising, public relations, internal communications, and social media) as directed, as assigned.
  • Assist and represent Houdek's established tactics and strategy in the areas of Communications (advertising, public relations, internal communications, and social media) as directed, as assigned.
  • Participate in the formation and practical use of Houdek's tactics and strategy in Communications.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Demonstrated and maintained excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Established proficiency in using key applications in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Squarespace, Mailchimp, and Houdek-supported software/applications to edit, adapt, and/or create communication-related materials.
  • Proven proficiency in creating, monitoring, and analyzing social media posts and performance.
  • Displayed comprehension of commonly practiced tactics in advertising, public relations, and internal communications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, Psychology, or Communication Arts.
  • Portfolio of finished work that may include advertisements, strategic planning, social media content, video content, & copywriting.
