Our role is a hybrid position located in Huntersville, NC

Responsibilities:

Administration and Configuration

  • Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Customize Salesforce to align with business processes and requirements.
  • Configure and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Data Management

  • Ensure data integrity and cleanliness within Salesforce by implementing data quality best practices.
  • Import, export, and mass update data as needed.
  • Monitor data storage usage and archive outdated data to optimize performance. Integration and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, client success, product development, technical support, and finance to ensure alignment and cohesion in how salesforce enables the various processes and reporting needs.
  • Manage integrations and maintain data synchronization between Salesforce and external systems.

Training and Support

  • Provide ongoing training and support to users on Salesforce features and functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Document processes, policies, and procedures related to Salesforce administration.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement and maintain security settings and access controls in accordance with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce security features and proactively address security vulnerabilities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Keep knowledge current on software releases and integrations, new apps, and industry best practices to enhance Salesforce utilization, data hygiene and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within Salesforce.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to maximize the value of Salesforce for the organization.

Skill / Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (Salesforce Certified Administrator) is required.
  • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience engaging with or leading external consulting teams to design and execute new and complex integrations (e.g. QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • Proven track record of working closely with business stakeholders to effectively identify business needs and collaborate on translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent multitasking and project management skills; well-organized with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize work streams and anticipate issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
