Job DescriptionJob Description
  • Conduct classroom instruction, simulator training, and practical flight exercises to prepare personnel for operational fleet squadron assignments.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of training curriculum and course materials to ensure alignment with USMC aviation requirements and objectives.
  • Assess aviator performance and proficiency through written exams, practical evaluations, and simulated exercises, proving constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
  • Coordinate training schedules, aircraft availability, and other resources to optimize training efficiency and endure timely completion of training milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and aviation regulations to maintain a safe training environment for all personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, aviator progress, and instructor qualifications, and prepare reports as required by USMC regulations and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation in training methodologies, equipment, and procedures to enhance training effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with service regulations and procedures, company policies and procedures, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations.

Requirements

  • No less than 3 years’ experience providing core introduction level training and initial basic aircrew qualifications to USMC personnel.
  • The FRS Training Specialist shall possess extensive knowledge of the FRS enterprise system, UAS operations and aircrew training.
  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • No less than 5 years of Training Management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to Marine Corps aviators.
  • Proven leadership abilities and sound decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Clearance Required: Active Secret Security clearance.
