The Logistics and Facilities Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the operations of the warehouse for the leading National provider of Hormone replacement therapy and weight loss wellness services. This role ensures efficient storage, distribution, and inventory management of medical supplies and equipment while maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment. The supervisor will coordinate with various departments to support the overall logistics and facilities functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Warehouse Management:

    Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing equipment. Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

  2. Inventory Control:

    Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks. Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and regular audits. Coordinate with the procurement team to reorder supplies as needed.

  3. Logistics Coordination:

    Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery. Work with logistics providers and carriers to optimize shipping and receiving processes. Track and report on key logistics metrics, such as delivery times and shipping costs.

  4. Facilities Maintenance:

    Ensure the warehouse and related facilities are properly maintained. Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors for repairs and upkeep. Implement facility management policies and procedures.

  5. Compliance and Safety:

    Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including OSHA and other relevant standards. Develop and enforce safety protocols to protect warehouse staff and visitors. Conduct regular safety inspections.

  6. Team Leadership:

    Supervise Facility Maintenance Technicians. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.

  7. Vendor and Supplier Relations:

    Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with shipments. Negotiate bids to ensure the best terms and pricing.

  8. Budget and Cost Management:

    Assist in developing and managing the warehouse purchase order and inventory system. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Prepare purchase order reports and provide recommendations for cost control.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, warehouse management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Clear background and clean driving record
  • Must be willing to travel to all clinics as needed with Travel compensated for
  • Experience creating, maintaining and approving a PO system.
  • Must be able to stand, lift, crouch, crawl for long periods of time.

Working Conditions:

The role may require occasional availability for evening or weekend work. The position involves physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting.

Travel

Travel is required for this role. 50% Travel position with company card provided. Hotel, flight accommodations and the daily allotted per diem will be provided.
