Job DescriptionJob Description

An excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a long term, full-time ,clerical position in ASC medical billing. High School Diploma or GED required. Bilingual, Spanish speaking, preferred. Experience a plus, but not required. The individual must have a detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy. Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Posting payments and adjustments into the electronic Practice Management (PM) system, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

Follow up on accounts receivables, actively communicating with patients, healthcare providers and/or insurance companies and attorneys to resolve outstanding claims.

Prepare and submit appeals, providing necessary documentation.

Assist with various general office duties including but not limited to, demographic entries/corrections, answering phones, payments, billing inquiries, communicating via emails, handling incoming mail on a day-to-day basis, scanning, printing and faxing.

Provide additional support to the billing department, as needed.
