As an Insurance Producer, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and develop tailored insurance solutions to meet their unique needs. As an Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for generating new business and cultivating relationships with potential clients. This role will require you to actively prospect and identify new leads, reach out to them, and educate them on the insurance products and services we offer. On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to conduct client needs assessments, analyze their insurance requirements, and develop personalized insurance proposals. You will also work closely with our team to review and renew existing policies, ensuring that clients have the most up-to-date coverage. As an Insurance Producer, you will be an excellent communicator, able to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

You will utilize your strong sales skills to negotiate and close deals, while also maintaining accurate records of all interactions and transactions. This is a fast-paced role that requires self-motivation, organization, and the ability to multitask effectively. To excel in the role of Insurance Producer, certain skills and qualifications are essential. Firstly, you should possess a strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are also vital for building relationships with clients and colleagues. Active listening, respect, empathy, and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts are crucial for success.

Sales and negotiation skills are essential for generating new business and closing deals. You should be comfortable with prospecting, lead generation, and developing effective sales strategies. A commitment to learning and using technology is essential for success. Proficiency in various software and tools is required to efficiently manage client information, policy data, and communication. Familiarity with CRM systems, email platforms, and document management software is highly beneficial.

License Qualifications

  • Excess & Surplus lines (E&S) license (within 90 days of hire)
  • Property & Casualty license (within 90 days of hire)
