Position Summary: Responsible for fulfilling customer orders. Pick, pack, and load items accurately and efficiently. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. The 2nd Shift Shipping Associate provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and demonstrates strict


Essential Functions:

•Accurately picks, packs, and loads customer orders onto delivery vehicles.

•Demonstrates company core values and best practices.

•Exemplifies dedication to customer satisfaction with a superior experience.

•Assists team members with daily problem resolution.

•Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain thatquantities, destination, and routing are correct.

•Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insures, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped.

•Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifiesshipping supervisor.

•Delivers items to loading dock and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.

•May operate dolly, pallet jack, crane, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies andequipment; may operate shrink wrap machine.

•Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous qualityimprovement objectives.

•Adheres to all Company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.

•Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

•Requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

•Must possess strong mathematical aptitude.

•Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.

•Must be able to communicate in English with regard to the essential functions of the position.


Required Experience and Education:

•High school diploma or GED.

•One year of prior warehouse experience.

•Prior forklift experience preferred, but not required.


Physical Demands:

•Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50 lbs.

•Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.

•Requires the ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods of time.

•Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
