Summary:
Responsible for packing and weighing product efficiently with minimal errors. Will process various products for freezing or fresh productions at an established production and quality level.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
- Pack fresh fillets and IQF fillets to company expectations in production and quality for fresh orders and for freezing.
- Process and pack bottom fish, salmon, shrimp, Sardines, Whiting, and Crab during those seasons at established production and quality levels.
- Ensure all pallets are wrapped and stacked correctly to ensure minimal movement of boxes in transit.
- Communicate supply material levels as needed.
- Maintain and ensure proper use of company equipment.
- Follow all established company safety and health guidelines.
- Keep work area clean and organized; follow established sanitation protocols.
- Provide back up support for other duties as needed.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you will bring to Pacific Seafood:
Required
- Must have experience in the utilization of food processing equipment, in sanitation and food safety.
Preferred
- Experience with the safe operation of forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
