Overview: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Rubber Production Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate mechanical and manual rubber production equipment, prepare metal inserts, and perform other related tasks. This role requires adherence to safety and quality standards, as well as the ability to follow written procedures and established practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mechanical and manual rubber production equipment to produce parts and products.
  • Prepare metal inserts by sandblasting, taping, and applying

adhesive.

  • Trim finished rubber parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Operate molding presses and rubber mills under the supervision of a Cure Press Operator or Production Supervisor.
  • Maintain equipment and manage raw materials as specified in the Production Order.
  • Adhere to and comply with state and federal laws, company policies, safety and environmental regulations, and the quality program requirements of API Q1 and ISO 9001:2000.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in operating mechanical and manual production equipment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures and established practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety and quality standards.

Additional Information:

  • The work schedule is 2nd shift, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
  • This position is contract to hire after successfully completing 6 months.
  • Contractors converted after 6 months will receive a $0.50 increase in pay.
