At Game Rant, we require writers who are driven to succeed, have a way with words, and keep up with what's trending in the gaming world.

The editorial team at GameRant.com is looking for a Video Game Strategy Guides Writer with extensive knowledge and familiarity on all things Final Fantasy XIV. The Final Fantasy Guide Writer will be responsible for researching topics that will make worthwhile guides, and then producing these articles in a prompt manner. These contributors should be able to intuit what angle might make for a unique guide as well as what topics gamers are searching for at the moment.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for writers who can:

  • Contribute a minimum of 25 guide articles per month.
  • Pitch regular guide content and research Final Fantasy XIV related topics.
  • Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site. 
  • Bring original topics and a plethora of gaming knowledge to the table.
  • Research and source their topics proficiently. 
  • Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
  • Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content. 
  • Ability to maintain a contracted freelance schedule.

Applicants must be highly motivated and possess the following requirements:

  • Ability to source information/news from different websites.
  • Broad knowledge of their speciality game and familiarity with strategy guides.
  • A solid grasp of the English language.
  • The ability to communicate complex steps to a wide audience.
  • Experience in SEO practices.
