  • Location: Fort Collins, Colorado
  • Status: Full-time, 40/hrs. week, Hybrid with some in-person requirements

What You’ll Do:

The Facility Credentialing & Licensing Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the licensing, credentialing and recredentialing for all SummitStone facilities. The Facility Credentialing & Licensing Specialist ensures facilities obtain the correct National Provider Identifiers (NPIs) and that they are licensed and credentialed with the required local, state and federal entities or agencies. The Facility Credentialing & Licensing Specialist maintains up-to-date data for each facility and online systems and ensures that all SummitStone facilities are up-to-date with their licenses and credentialing.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete facility credentialing and recredentialing processes, monitoring applications and following up as needed.
  • Track, request and maintain current and accurate licenses/certifications for all facilities
  • Maintains copies of current local, state and federal licenses, certificates and accreditations, and any other required credentialing documents for all facilities.
  • Conduct research on updated local, state and federal regulations and policies.
  • Assist in developing internal credentialing processes.
  • Collaborate and build relationships with various departments and regulating bodies to facilitate a smooth licensing process.
  • Keep manager informed of potential credentialing, recredentialing, or enrollment issues.
  • Assist the Compliance Specialist, as needed
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities

Required:

  • High school diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent vocational school or short-term courses
  • At least one year of experience in credentialing/licensing
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be evaluated and considered

Preferred:

  • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred

Some positions include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado driver’s license.

Total Rewards

The typical hiring range for this position is $24.00 - $28.80/ hour, based on relevant years of experience.
