T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist 2 for our Technology department based out of our Middletown, NJ office. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to internal users within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include providing Help Desk and customer service support to internal clients, resolving technical issues promptly, overseeing device and user account management IT security, basic Azure administration, scripting, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Help Desk and customer service support to internal clients via Jira Service Management, to resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage devices using Microsoft Intune, ensuring proper configuration, security compliance, and software deployment.
  • Assist with the monitoring, and management of Microsoft Defender to protect against malware, ransomware, and other cybersecurity threats.
  • Assist with Exchange Online management, including user mailbox provisioning, distribution list management, email policies configuration, and troubleshooting email delivery issues. Investigate phishing attempts.
  • Administer Teams Voice features, including user setup, phone number management, call routing configurations, and troubleshooting voice-related issues.
  • Assist with basic Azure administration tasks, such as user management, resource provisioning, monitoring and Azure backups administration.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
  • Create and update documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree Preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • 5+ years of related experience in a IT or Help Desk support role is required.
  • Proficiency in device management using Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong knowledge of user account management using Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection.
  • Familiarity with Azure administration concepts, including Azure backups administration.
  • Experience administering Exchange Online (Office 365), including mailbox management and email policies configuration.
  • Understanding of Teams Voice features and administration.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management, Windows Autopilot is a plus.
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell to automate routine tasks and streamline processes.
  • Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices, experience with Microsoft Defender and Windows BitLocker.
