Sweet Treets Bakery is a local custom bakery focused on delighting our customers with artisanal, beautiful, and high-quality cake and desserts with a main focus of the business being custom decorated cakes, prestige custom wedding cakes, and other "treets". We are looking for a stellar Front of House Sales Representative who has a passion for making people happy and delivering top-notch service This is a customer service job that plays a huge role in our bakery as you are the first face our customers see. Bakery experience is a plus, but not required. This is a FULL-TIME position.
Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
-oversees main email inbox & reply to customers in timely manner
-answering the phone and replying to messages in a timely manner
-maintains a clean, safe, and appealing space for customers and employees
-boxing and prepping all completed orders
-greeting and assisting customers
-open and closes the store front
-experience with Square POS is preferred but not required
-works with BOH team to ensure orders are accurate
-follows and maintains all operational procedures, including task lists, tracking sheets, etc.
-assist with deliveries for wholesale and special event deliveries (during peak season) - Valid Drivers License required
-willing into learn more and engage in the day-to-day activities of a bakery
-Report directly to Associate Director
Qualifications
-have strong written and verbal communication skills. There is a lot of detail oriented email and phone answering involved day to day.
-have a friendly, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
-have strong attention to detail and organizational and multitasking skills.
-understand the importance of exceptional customer service and exemplify this when interacting with customers in person, on the phone, and via email
-have flexibility in scheduling, working weekends and holidays. (Closed New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day). * Bakery is closed Sunday and Monday
-have the ability to physically carry, and transport large multi-tier cakes with extreme care. Comfortably carry 30-50 lbs alone.
-take initiative to get work done; can work independently and as a team
-contribute to a positive work environment that makes for both happy employees and happy customers.
-have at least 1 year experience in foodservice or retail (preferred)
-obtain Food Handler s Certificate (required of all staff within 30 days of hiring)

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $18.00/hour.
