Responsibilities: As a Community Manager, you will:

  • Plan and direct day-to-day activities of the property, overseeing maintenance staff and vendors.
  • Market and lease available apartments in compliance with fair housing laws.
  • Provide high-level customer service, connecting with residents.
  • Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Onesite software.
  • Screen and qualify prospective residents, maintaining a working waitlist.
  • Prepare vacant units for rental, including renovation oversight.
  • Manage property expenditures in accordance with the budget.
  • Respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.

Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with:

  • A minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience and one year of management experience.
  • Proven track record for successful leasing and renewal rates.
  • LIHTC experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills, with OneSite experience preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing community rules and policies.
  • Strong communication ability, both verbally and in writing.
