Position Summary: 
The Multimedia and Graphic Design Specialist performs graphic design, still photography, and video support. This role involves capturing broadcast-quality content, creating motion graphics, and supporting digital media communication and multimedia services. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Performance of graphic design, still photography, and video support for various communication products. 

  • Perform tasks using visual communication and narrative storytelling skills, and photojournalism. 

  • Exploration of new visual information to communicate sensitive, sometimes controversial topics with Government’s end users. 

  • Research, plan, write and produce visual information products for diverse internal and external audiences. 

  • Assist the PAO Digital Communication Team with capturing broadcast-quality content using various audio and video equipment, such as high-definition camcorders, professional-grade microphone systems, and lighting kits. 

  • Graphic design (e.g., social media), motion graphics, and dynamic and static infographics support. 

  • Must have experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator and Photoshop and understand After Effects and Premiere. 

  • Performance of multimedia and graphic communication support. Graph design, Livestreaming, Video Production, and Photographing support services. 

  • Performance of services in the multimedia section. 

Minimum Experience: 

  • Must be able to obtain OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training Course Certificate or Construction Industry Outreach course by an approved federal OSHA training provider before entering employment.  

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere 

  • Experience in graphic design and visual communication 

  • Ability to produce multimedia and graphic communication support 

** The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion, such as a) long periods of standing, walking, and bending; b) lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and c) moving equipment, tools, materials, furniture, and a variety of other heavy objects**
