H2 Orthodontics is looking for a fun, outgoing, hardworking and energetic Clinical Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you are looking to work directly with patient to provide them outstanding orthodontic care through Invisalign and Braces, you will want to join our team We strive on providing exceptional patient care and are a fun and energetic practice to be a part of.


To be responsible in assisting to produce performance and quality standards within the Orthodontic Clinic, delivered through customer service skills and attention to detail.



Duties include:


  • Help to maintain patient flow pattern by seating patients promptly and begin procedures
  • Place elastic ties, elastic chains, and wires.
  • Prepare teeth for bonding of braces and Invisalign attachments
  • Checks patient for loose brackets or bonds Monitor oral hygiene of patients, instructs on correct brushing
  • Deliver all instruments to sterilization to be sterilized
  • Keeps drawers stocked, clean, and replenished Debriefs patient and parents after appointments Take X-rays, photos, iTero scans
  • Charts notes for patients seen, Chart scheduling of next appointment type needed and the weeks out
  • Answers any questions for parents regarding treatment
  • Assists Orthodontist in any given procedure
  • Anticipates what doctor may need during appointment and takes action
  • Cleans chair and moves around clinic with sense of urgency
  • Sterilization of instruments
  • Preforms side tasks daily and/or monthly as assigned by Clinic Coordinator
  • Attends all other staff meetings and Daily Huddles.
  • Abide by established office policies and procedures
  • Representing the practice in a positive way inside and outside of the office.



Requirements:


  • be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude
  • possess great understanding of dental terminology or a willingness to learn dental terminology
  • have excellent communication and written skills
  • have excellent public relations skills
  • work well with patients and team
  • be experienced in delivering high-level customer service
  • Committed to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed.
