Bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant

We are a fast growing Pulmonary group in search of a Medical Administrative Assistant. The position does require some travel between Dallas/Desoto/Bedford/Grapevine/Irving on a needed basis only, but home location would be Irving/Grapevine.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
* Answering multi-line telephones and directing calls to appropriate staff
* Checking e-fax and forwarding to corresponding department
* Insurance verification/Obtain authorizations for office visits
* Scheduling/rescheduling appointments for established patients and hospital follow-ups
* Completing patient consent forms-sending & reviewing
* Communicate with patients via patient portal/email.
* Check patient's in/out
* Collect co-payments and account balances
* Confirm patient appointments
* Maintain the waiting lobby clean.
Requirements:Applicants MUST have at least 2 year of experience in a medical office setting for the position they are applying for. You must be self motivated with a positive attitude willing to learn new procedures, open to constant changes, dependable, and MUST BE ABLE TO MULTITASK and able to work independently. Bilingual candidate preferred
