Job Summary:
The Sales Manager at Phil Smith Automotive Group is responsible for overseeing and managing the sales team, developing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets for all departments of the dealership including new and used cars, and finance. This full-time role requires strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of sales processes, and a deep knowledge of the automotive industry.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position in the automotive industry with a competitive compensation package including base salary, commission, and bonuses. Phil Smith Automotive Group also offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement contributions, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve dealership sales targets
- Monitor and analyze sales reports and performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Oversee and manage the sales team, providing leadership, training, and coaching to ensure their success
- Collaborate with finance to maximize profits and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service
- Set and enforce sales policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Manage inventory levels and ensure the dealership has a diverse and attractive selection of vehicles
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Participate in dealership meetings and provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends

Requirements:
- Experience in Sales, Financial Services, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, lead and develop a team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- In-depth knowledge of automotive sales processes, trends, and strategies
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets, profitability and CSI
