Compensation:

$15 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Install and configure Desktop Phones, Softphones, Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs), Mikrotik Routers, Switches, Access Points and peripheral equipment
  • Use network monitoring tools such as PRTG to monitor network devices (routers, switches, servers, virtual machines)
  • Use Proxmox Virtual Environment to support containerization of new containers and the management of container backups
  • Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets through Zoho Desk quickly and efficiently
  • Provide steps to help internal office users resolve technical problems
  • Maintain technical support procedures and update Knowledge Base as needed
  • Analyze support tickets and system logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues
  • Support the implementation of new solutions or applications
  • Create accounts for new clients and assist with password or login problems
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of how to troubleshoot network systems phone systems, internet connectivity, and other technological equipment
  • Successful completion of initial start-up plan, to develop a solid understanding of the organization’s core technologies (initial two-week training)
  • Attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current
  • Increase efficiencies, technical ability, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Mikrotik routers and products (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with Linux command line (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent customer service skills in solving technical issues
  • Good communication skills 
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Ability to work fast under pressure
