Fusion Transport offer more than 40 years of industry leading experience providing customized supply chain solutions. We are a rapidly growing $300M+ company with nationwide presence. We are an integrated third-party logistics company, with a brokerage division, an in-house long-haul fleet, several warehouses around the country, and a retail consolidation business. We currently operate under three levels of services which include Assets, Brokerage, and Warehousing.

Our freight brokerage business is growing rapidly (operating under the well-established Am Trans brand) and looking for experienced brokers to join our team. Our integrated 3PL business allows brokers to leverage other parts of the business as selling points in ways that traditional brokers can't, making it easier to build relationships and sell to clients.

The Role

As an Account Executive, you will combine inside sales, account management, supply chain planning and operational activities to meet the shipping needs of our customers. Relationships with your carriers will help grow their business and your career

Our brokerage sales division provides the opportunity to be involved in the growth of a huge part of our business You will help solve the same challenge that shippers and carriers face every year: how to evolve and adapt to market conditions to maintain relevance and profitability. Fusion solves the ever-changing landscape for shippers & carriers by leveraging decades of industry experience with fanatical service.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Build and grow a profitable book of business
  • Negotiating rates with customers and carriers depending on the market
  • Determine market costs to submit bids/rates to customers, in order to obtain freight & continue to grow.
  • Ongoing and annual assessments of team member’s performance and appropriate discipline or reward accordingly.
  • Thorough understanding of various Operations software, in order to implement & oversee that load are being covered as efficiently and quickly as possible.
  • Mediate and make final decisions between Ops employees and carriers when there are discrepancies in resolving shipment issues.
  • Accept/reject freight from customers, based on current capacity and rates.
  • Working closely with customers, shipment operators, steamship lines and agents

  • Empathetic to customer needs with the ability to translate those needs into solutions that deliver value.
  • 1+ years of Freight Brokerage Industry experience and inside sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (but not needed) - we want to see your true grit and hustle.
