Status: Full time. Hourly.

Immediate Supervisor — Site Supervisor and Rest Area Manager

Must have a valid Florida driver's license. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

When assigned to Rest Area Attendant responsibilities:

Reports to Lead Attendant, Site Supervisors and Rest Area manager

  1. Clean restrooms thoroughly and regularly, walk-through every 20 minutes.
  2. Replenish toilet tissue, as needed.
  3. Empty garbage maximum of 35 pounds, as needed.
  4. Sweep, mop floors as needed.
  5. Keep water fountain clean.
  6. Keep foyer area clean.
  7. Keep curbs clean.
  8. Keep grounds free of litter.
  9. Weed and remove trash from flower beds.
  10. Keep picnic tables and areas clean.
  11. Assist tourists with questions.
  1. Notify supervisor of problems.
  2. Perform detail duties as required.
  3. Keep storage room organized and locked.
  4. Keep garbage area neat and clean.
  5. Close restrooms in emergencies.
  6. Water lawn as needed.
  7. Ensure personal appearance is neat, well groomed, and in full uniform.
  8. Performs other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to follow directions and work independently. Physical stamina to perform job requirements. Ability to turn zero turn mowers and other power equipment. Must have transportation and have good driving record with valid Florida driver's license. Employee must be able to communicate with others well.
