Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a CRNA in Pediatrics, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients during surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-producing clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician.

This role requires effective communication and collaboration with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff who care for patients. You will also be responsible for documenting patient procedures and incidents, participating in department quality assurance initiatives, and remaining knowledgeable on current federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility.

Key responsibilities include:

• Administering anesthesia to patients during surgical, obstetrical, and other pain-producing clinical procedures
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
• Documenting patient procedures and incidents
• Participating in department quality assurance initiatives
• Staying up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and standards
