Warehouse Worker

Job Summary: As a Warehouse Worker at ALL-GAS in Hartford, CT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing gas products to our customers. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. This position is for our night shift and will include an appropriate hourly differential.

Responsibilities:

• Move compressed gas cylinders and larger liquid cylinders around the warehouse.
  
• Load and unload trucks.
  
• Relocate 500lb dry ice bins to designated warehouse locations.
• Assist customers with compressed gas cylinder pick ups/drop offs.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to gas safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly productivity targets.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to gas handling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and handling of gas cylinders.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy gas cylinders as required, following proper safety procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management.
• Willingness to follow gas safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
