Job Summary: As a Warehouse Worker at ALL-GAS in Hartford, CT, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing gas products to our customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate is a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming gas shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders or invoices.
• Unload, inspect, and properly store incoming gas cylinders in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick and pack orders for various gas products accurately and efficiently based on customer requests.
• Prepare gas orders for shipping by ensuring they are properly labeled and packaged according to safety regulations.
• Perform regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels of gas cylinders.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to gas safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly productivity targets.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies related to gas handling.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking and inventory management, especially in handling gas cylinders.
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy gas cylinders as required, following proper safety procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for order tracking and inventory management.
• Willingness to follow gas safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
