PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Registered Nurse is responsible for clinical supervision in our health center while reporting the Director of Nursing.

The Registered Nurse will collaborate with Providers and multidisciplinary team members to promote person centered care.

The Registered Nurse collaborates with the Practice Manager for the assigned Department and directly reports to the Director of Nursing.

Requirements:

· Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

· Oversee the daily workflow and staffing within departments.

· Complete daily staffing schedule and forward to the Practice Manager.

· Maintain nursing and operational policies and procedures that conforms to current standards of practice, facility philosophy while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

· Work closely with our clinical team members to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to and that quality care is delivered.

· Serves as a clinical resource to Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists in clinical decision-making.

· Identifies specific educational needs of individual Medical Assistants and Phlebotomists and provides retraining for identified needs.

· Facilitating and managing problem solving in the clinical setting.

· Collaborates with Care Teams to improve the quality of services and to resolve identified problems.

· Daily review and follow up Critical labs for all FoundCare locations per protocol.

· Review STD twice weekly, follow up on treatment and ensure DOH reporting and compliance per protocol.

· Daily review of ER referrals and Hospital follow up for Adult medicine.

· Managing all incoming Pre-Op Clearance Request per protocol.

· Responsible for maintaining and tracking stock medication and vaccination inventory. (VFC and Private)

· Complete Crash Cart/ Oxygen Tank Monthly.

· Assist Providers and Medical Assistants with medical procedures that include but not limited to wound care, phlebotomy, administering vaccines, and performing POC rapid tests, administering IM medications and performing EKGs, Retina view.

· Performs triage assessment for walk-in clinic patients and collaborates with Medical Director or CMO.

· In House Rapid test equipment calibration and maintenance.

· Use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills to foster effective work relationships with Medical Assistants and other team members

· Required to work with a Provider as needed to ensure staffing coverage of department is adequate.

· Respond to all medical emergencies (chest pain, hypertensive crisis, diabetic crisis, 911 calls)

· Managing Primary care voice mails, Provider faxes, In baskets, work queues.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to participate and lead team effectively.

Ability to develop solutions and lead staff through the change process.

Able to articulate ideas and knowledge both verbally and in writing


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical ability to lift and carry 25 pounds, as well as bend, stoop, walk, reach overhead.

Physical agility to push/pull, squat, twist and turn.

Ability to endure short, intermittent, and/or long periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties

Transport him/herself to other departments, conference rooms, and on occasion in, to off-site locations to accomplish job responsibilities, attend meetings, conduct trainings.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor of Nursing preferred.
