Title: Salesforce Developer (On-site Houston, TX)

Client: Energy, Oil & Gas Company

Location: Houston, Texas (On-site)

Type: Contract

Pay: $60-65/hour (W-2 US resident/green cardholder)

Summary:

  • The CRM Developer plays a pivotal role in the enhancement and maintenance of our Salesforce platform.
  • The role sits on a team responsible for creating and optimizing experiences for our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Acts as the CRM SME ensuring that our organization provides an exceptional online customer journey.
  • Develop CRM applications customizing and developing Salesforce solutions to meet the evolving needs of our growing organization.
  • Leverage a solid understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, and data management.
  • Support multiple business product lines and must possess effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce.
  • Implement and maintain the latest Salesforce developments, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and customize Salesforce solutions to support and streamline business processes, including the creation of custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and other customizations as needed.
  • Perform data migrations, data maintenance, and data quality initiatives within the Salesforce platform.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for various teams and departments.
  • Assist in the development of user training materials and provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  • Stay current with Salesforce updates, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the organization's Salesforce implementation remains up-to-date and efficient.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and effective communication throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S and/or green card holder.
  • 3 or more years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Must have a strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Workflow Rule.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce data modeling and reporting.
  • Knowledge of integration tools and techniques for Salesforce, such as REST and SOAPAPIs is a big plus.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I)
  • Familiarity working in an Agile environment and versed in Agile development methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
