Position: Program Supervisor

Reports To: Supervisor/Program Manager

Department: DEA Mailroom and Warehouse Support Services

FLSA Status: Exempt



Supervises

All SysCom, Inc. personnel working on this contract.


General Function

Will supervise staff in both warehouse locations, Lincoln Place in Arlington and the Springfield Warehouse. Be responsible for all program administrative functions under this contract.



Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities)

1. Responsible for tracking manhours, quality of work, and handling issues or problems.

2. Have full knowledge of contract performance requirements and procedures such as organizing employees to perform various duties and handling of equipment to prevent equipment or facility damage.

3. Will monitor the employee working arrangements to ensure that for every two inexperienced employees, one experienced and highly qualified employee is present at each work assignment.

4. Will be required to operate Government owned vehicles when required or as a back-up to any vehicle operator position.

5. Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Be physically able to perform the assigned work which includes lifting boxes weighing up to seventy-five (75) pounds.

· Employee will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull.

· Strong management-related skills i.e. communication, decision making, problem-solving, leadership, time management, multi-tasking, critical thinking, organization etc.

· Drug Screen and Background Check: Pass with the ability to maintain throughout employment.

Minimum Experience

· Minimum of ten years prior experience in supervising similar moving, mailing services Logistic Management, and warehouse operations.

· Minimum of five years specialized experience using an automated inventory warehouse system.

· Minimum of 2 years specialized experience using the Windows Operating Systems environment and word processing software such as, MSWord, Excel, etc.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Have full knowledge of moving, mail management, duplicating and printing, and warehousing/logistics procedures, such as, organizing employees to perform various duties, and accomplished critical requirements with short turn-around times.

· Be able to read, write and speak English fluently, and be fully trained in the requirements of this contract.

· Requires Top Secret level security clearance

· SysCom, Inc. staff, executives and management.

· Serves as liaison between department and other departments as well as with outside customers, regulatory personnel, and organizations, etc.
