Office Location: 800 W 6th St. Los Angeles, CA, 90017 and/or 2020 E. 1st Street, Los Angeles CA 90033.
Hours: Full-Time Salary: $81,120

Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LCSW to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Programs Director, the LCSW will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding all aspects of this project through a clinical lens. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive clinical knowledge, cultural sensitivity and commitment to providing high-quality mental health prevention and awareness services. This position involves guiding a team, ensuring compliance with contractual deliverable outcomes, and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Objective Goals and Service/Activities (but not limited to): The LCSW, will provide support and administrative oversight, will have the primary function of guiding and empowering program staff within their role and will also engage communities, and County partners with the goal of improving overall community wellbeing. Activities may include outreach and engagement, individual and community advocacy, facilitating groups, referral and linkage, and collaboration with internal and external systems within LACDMH, and other County Departments, community partners. Duties may vary based on the needs of the community being served, DMH, Service Area and/Supervisorial District. Position may require travel within the neighborhoods and communities served.Responsibilities:
Guidance and Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team, promoting a positive and collaborative work culture.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate communication, share updates, and address any concerns.
  • Foster professional development by identifying training needs and opportunities for staff growth.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual deliverable outcomes, standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Conduct regular clinical documentation audits to maintain accuracy, completeness, and adherence to best practices.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of clinical services.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Develop and implement curriculum, program protocols, and staff training.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in a relevant clinical field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
  • Current and valid clinical licensure.
  • Proven experience in clinical supervision and leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking, giving presentations and facilitating group discussions.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ communities and underserved populations.
  • Must be knowledgeable of local communities.
  • Good understanding of the wellness needs of underserved communities and the ability to work well with diverse populations and stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable in developing, providing, and/or evaluating community-based environmental prevention programs/services
  • Willing to work with staff in engaging and/or organizing community members, businesses, and community leaders in the implementation/adoption of a community and/or population-based effort
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • Licensed driver with reliable automobile preferred.
