Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a 3rd shift Production Supervisor for a company that designs and manufactures fuel systems and engine management components for automotive and powersports vehicles. Monday-Friday 10:30pm-6:00am. For immediate consideration, apply today.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing clear instructions, coaching, and support to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Monitor and manage production processes to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
  • Implement and enforce 5S principles (Sort, set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to create and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to develop, implement, and improve safety procedures, ensuring a culture of safety throughout the facility.
  • Identify and address any safety hazards or concerns, take immediate corrective actions, and conduct regular safety audits.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate performance targets, updates, and safety requirements, fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Maintain production records, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on production progress to the production manager.
  • Oversee training and development initiatives for production staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction, contributing to the overall productivity of the facility.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and execute equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Adopt and implement company Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP) and Departmental Work Instructions (DWI)

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 5 years' experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer software and systems for production tracking and reporting.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
  • Proven experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 5S safety principles and their application.
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications, including MS Office and production management software.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Forklift certification is a plus
