Job Description:
We are looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team.

In this role, you will provide leadership to important aspects of our fulfillment operations including on-time shipping, management of CDL drivers, planning, forecasting, and staffing.

Responsibilities also include maintaining productivity, quality and on-time service levels as established by senior management.

The Production Supervisor will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to create and maintain a culture of best-in-class (BIC) operations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversees documentation, and loadingEnsure the department meets and/or exceeds goals in a timely mannerUnderstand, work within, communicate, evaluate, and achieve department's KPIsDemonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behaviorSupervise and lead shipping and kitting employees, including scheduling, timecard approval, and labor management practicesProvide thoughtful feedback and innovative ideas in support of daily operationsReport defective material or questionable condition to Warehouse ManagerTrain, coach, and assess team members, performing corrective actions as necessaryLead the team to participate in decision making, problem solving, and continuous improvement processWork with minimum supervision and predict, identify, and resolve problemsTransfer and assign work within work areas and relieve and replace team members as requiredCommunicate effectively to teams across shifts, positively motivating team members and leading by examplePerform other duties as assignedQualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required5+ years' experience in a warehouse distribution field with 3+ years previous leadership experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to lead a diverse team to achieve goalsAbility to work overtime hours as needed

Physical Requirements:
Duties of this job requires daily lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
This role requires continuous standing for up to 12hrsThe warehouse conditions reflect those outside the warehouse and is subject to hot and cold climates
