Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time, Prefinish Lead to join our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order paint and maintain inventory levels
• Maintenance of paint guns and pump
• Match stain samples
• Operate automated paint line
• Lead processes and workload under direction of Prefinish Manager
• Accountable for the product and assembly team is working on
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
• Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
• Inspect all material for quality
• Have constant communication with department manager on progress with work orders
• Work with a team of individuals to ensure product is picked on time and to quality specifications
• Work together with all other areas in the warehouse to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Lead/supervisor experience
• Prefinish/coatings experience
• 5S and lean manufacturing knowledge a plus
• Comfortable using a forklift (previous forklift experience preferred)
• Candidate must have a good work history
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed

PAY

• $24+/hr. (determined by experience)
