Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBilingual Case AidePay Rate: $19/hr.Location: Houston, TX 77006Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm A non-profit organization is seeking a Temporary Case Aide to join their team. With your strong organization and communication skills, you will profoundly impact the organization by ensuring the successful integration and self-sufficiency of refugees within the community.   • Assist clients with transportation, orientation, and access to community resources.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and Case Managers.
  • Provide translation and interpretation services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to date client records.
  • Ensure clients are properly enrolled in internal and funder-provided database.
  • Provide orientations at on-site locations such as banks, credit unions, apartments, and grocery stores to teach day-to-day functions.
List Qualification or Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Haitian, or Ukrainian preferred
  • One (1) year experience in an administrative setting.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate clients' schedules.
  • Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheet, and database software).
