Job Summary Manages daily operation of a single RGA location/profit center by supervising employee staff and workflow in warehouse, sales and clerical office operations. This is a safety sensitive position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and resolves work issues or assists employees in solving work issues
  • Directs customer service operations at inside sales counter, over the phone or via email/internet requests
  • Maintains inventory levels in accordance with profit center general manager and central purchasing instruction
  • Responsible for coordination and requisition of products and materials necessary for work order assembly and/or just-in-time stock
  • Reviews product manufacturer data/technical directives for accuracy and currency of fabrication operations. Recommends changes and/or adjustments to general manager
  • Adjusts work priorities to meet production schedules and customer needs
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product to general manager/upper management
  • Adjusts working conditions and use of equipment to ensure safety and increase efficiency of warehouse/fabrication shop
  • Maintain all sales and purchase order documentation for customer billing and cash flow operations
  • Coordinates credit memos/holds/releases and other general customer billing correspondence with profit center general manager and central accounting
  • Responds to and processes requests from central accounting regarding accounts receivables
  • Responds to and processes requests from central purchasing regarding inventory management
  • Utilizes inventory management database to administer and review customer quotes and purchase orders
  • Utilizes customer relationship management software to review business operations regarding daily sales, quotes and to communicate in-progress tasks with outside sales force
  • Responsible for maintaining current all local utility accounts associated with facility operations
  • Ensure staff is following safety policy and procedure at all times
  • Directs and/or conducts monthly facility inspection, machine operations and maintains and/or ensures safe housekeeping in accordance with applicable OSHA regulations
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Regular and reliable attendance required
  • Follow directions of supervisors and trainers
  • Follow directions of RGA policies and procedures

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily supervisor of all employees of the branch, ranging from four to fifteen individuals
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state and local laws
  • Responsibilities include training, assigning work/tasks, directing and prioritizing work, addressing and resolving work problems

Education and Experience

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Must have a valid, active Driver's License with an insurable driving record

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities successfully; including the use of reasoning, communicating, calculating, analyzing, problem solving, and leading
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner and demonstrate attention to detail

Physical Demands

  • Ability to occassionally lift at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to safely use potentially dangerous equipment
  • Required to sit, stand, and walk alternatively throughout the day
  • Must be able to travel by car
  • Must be able to stand, climb, stoop, crouch, reach, walk, and bend
  • Must be able to talk and hear

  • Quiet to moderate noise level
  • Fast paced and positive
  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles
  • May occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and very loud noise levels.
