Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAssociated Insurance Management is hiring Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to work in the Personal Lines Department of our Silver Spring, Maryland office location. As one of the largest independent Property & Casualty insurance agencies in the Metropolitan Washington, DC area, we are always looking for experienced CSRs with the following skills and abilities to join our team:
  • Advise clients on their personal insurance needs
  • Collect and input data to quote new business & policy renewals in insurance carrier portals and our agency management system
  • Identify and evaluate risks & coverages
  • Review quotes and policies for accuracy
  • Prepare marketing proposals and presentation materials
  • Prepare evidence of insurance forms
  • Send policies, endorsements, invoices, and other correspondence to clients
  • Receive and return calls and emails to clients and insurance carriers
  • Properly maintain, scan, and organize electronic files in our agency management system
  • Report any service issues or problems to supervisor
  • Complete all other work, as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of experience writing personal home, auto, liability, and umbrella insurance
  • Valid Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Applied/Epic preferred
  • Professional, friendly demeanor
