We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at the Woodshed Smokehouse. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient restaurant performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing restaurant staff, including training, development, and scheduling.
- Oversee inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Supervise sales activities and ensure targets are met.
- Operate POS system and handle financial transactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptly.
Skills:
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Proficiency in team management and supervising staff.
- Strong inventory control skills.
- Training development abilities to enhance employee performance.
- Familiarity with Toast POS operations.
- Excellent sales skills to drive revenue growth.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- Strong math skills for handling financial transactions.
Requirements:
- Texas Food Managers Permit.
- TABC Certification.
- Minimum 3 years of relative experience in a full-service establishment.
