The Bug Company invites applications for the role of Production Manufacturing Team Member. Located at the heart of our production operations, this full-time position offers a unique opportunity to interact with a diverse team of professionals and participate actively in the manufacturing process of live crickets. At The Bug Company, we are committed to advancing the field of insect production through innovative approaches. As a Production Manufacturing Team Member, you will be directly involved in various stages of the production process, ensuring the delivery of superior products that meet our strict standards of quality and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Follow production processes and perform regular checks to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Follow detailed operational instructions and protocols to enhance production efficiency and outcomes.
  • Document production data and reports accurately, providing insight into production metrics and progress.
  • Identify issues or deviations from standard procedures and report them to senior management.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to upgrade skills and adopt new production methodologies.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a secure workplace environment.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling production tasks and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of interfacing effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Proactive in problem-solving with the ability to think critically and provide solutions under pressure.
  • Technical proficiency to operate complex production machinery and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Flexibility to work in varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, if required by production demands.
  • Educational background in a relevant field such as manufacturing, production engineering, or related disciplines is advantageous.
Shift

Tuesday - Saturday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

**Hours will fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs**
