We have a 4th grade student in Jersey City, NJ who needs help mastering reading comprehension skills, developing strong memorization and retention techniques, and expanding their vocabulary. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of elementary education principles and experience working with students at this age level, either as a tutor or teacher. A flexible, committed, and adaptable approach is key to cater to different learning styles. You'll create a positive and encouraging environment where the student thrives, building their confidence while gently pushing them to excel beyond expectations. Reliable transportation to Jersey City, NJ is a must. Join our team and make a lasting impact on a child's educational journey

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 years teaching/tutoring experience required
• College grads, upper-level college students, and professionals only. Teaching credentials is a plus.
• Great personality with the ability to build rapport with students and parents
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to create lesson plans
• Reliable Transportation
• Access to the internet, a computer, and/or a smart phone

COMPENSATION:

$30/hour depending upon experience.
