APS is accepting applications for Facility Maintenance Technician in Henderson, Ky.

 

We are now accepting applications for a Facility Maintenance Worker in Henderson, Ky.

 

THIS IS A FULL TIME, TEMP TO HIRE POSITION

 

Monday-Friday (over time as needed)

8am-4pm

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs MINOR painting, carpentry, and masonry work.
  • Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, parking lots, and other work areas Prepares apartments for move-in and completes refurbishing of apartments after move-out, including painting of apartments.
  • Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repairs making notes and recommendations using an established checklist.
  • Maintains grounds including outside residence repair and garbage removal or coordinates services with outside vendors where appropriate.
  • Performs MINOR electrical maintenance.
  • Performs MINOR plumbing maintenance.

 

Major Issues will be repaired by an outside Contractor.
All major Electrical and Plumbing will be conducted by an outside contractor.
APS will offer a Universal EPA certification course.
