This position is hybrid and will require hours in the office.  This is a temporary position and expected to end September 2024.


Schedule:

               Payroll Week (every-other): Saturday thorough Wednesday & Friday

               Non-Payroll Week (every-other): Monday through Friday

LaJoy Group, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Payroll Admin. The position requires work in-office (Livonia, MI) and hybrid hours. Weekend hours (every other week) are required.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Print and scan timesheets accordingly.
  • Audit, complete data entry and approve hours to ensure employees are paid accurately and timely.
  • Main point of contact with payroll vendor for problem resolution.
  • Assist with questions related to W2’s and tax information.
  • Work closely with the team to implement software, ensuring information is correct. Communicate and train employees on usage.

 

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Two to three years of previous payroll, billing or accounting experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with ADP preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, and other Office Applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to relate to internal and external customers and clients, alike, at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, able to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
  • High level of independent problem solving.
  • Previous experience working with a vulnerable population or customers preferred.
